Sekai Finance Testnet Airdrop: Earn a Potential $HYPE Liquid Staking Reward (Final Allocation TBA)

Sekai Finance Testnet Airdrop: Earn a Potential $HYPE Liquid Staking Reward (Final Allocation TBA)

Sekai Finance Testnet: A Front-Row Seat to Hyperliquid Liquid Staking

Some of the most rewarding opportunities in crypto come from showing up early. Sekai Finance is a new liquid staking protocol built for Hyperliquid, and its public testnet is now live. For Crypto Club Earners, this is a chance to get hands-on with a fresh protocol, learn how liquid staking works on one of the fastest-growing chains, and position yourself ahead of a possible token launch. The project has not confirmed a token or points program yet, but early, genuine activity is exactly the kind of contribution protocols tend to remember if they reward their first users.

What Is Sekai Finance?

Sekai Finance is a liquid staking protocol for Hyperliquid, the high-performance chain where native $HYPE staking is becoming a core part of the builder stack. On Hyperliquid, staked $HYPE unlocks perks like HIP-3 deployments, HIP-1 quote assets, trading fee discounts, and future staking-enabled products. The problem builders face is turning that locked stake into something liquid and usable. That is the gap Sekai fills.

With Sekai, projects, validators, communities, wallets, and institutions can launch custom liquid staking tokens (LSTs) backed by staked $HYPE. Each LST is a standard ERC-20 token, so it stays liquid and usable across DeFi, while operators can configure their own rules: validator sets, fees, deposit caps, access controls, stake floors, and governance.

The most interesting piece is the exit design. When users redeem an LST, they receive a transferable withdrawal receipt while the underlying $HYPE finishes its unbonding period. Through Sekai DEX, those receipts and LSTs get a dedicated liquidity market, giving holders a faster exit and helping new LSTs avoid isolated, illiquid pools. Sekai is closely connected to ValiDAO, a Hyperliquid validator and staking operator, and its CEO Hugin Knudsen also leads ValiDAO. At this early stage, Sekai has not yet published a whitepaper or an audit report.

Why Earners Should Care

The Sekai public testnet lets you mint LSTs, redeem them, swap through Sekai DEX, provide liquidity, market-make, and report bugs before mainnet. Sekai has not confirmed a public airdrop, token, or points program. However, if a token ever launches, protocols frequently look back at early testnet contributors. Participating now costs only time and testnet tokens, and it teaches you the mechanics of liquid staking firsthand.

How to Participate in the Sekai Finance Testnet

  1. Access the Sekai testnet. Go to the official Sekai testnet portal, connect a dedicated wallet reserved for testnet activity, and claim free testnet HYPE tokens from the QuickNode faucet.
  2. Stake testnet HYPE. Stake your testnet HYPE into an available Sekai LST to begin the core flow.
  3. Mint and check your LST. Mint the LST and confirm the balance you receive in your wallet.
  4. Redeem the LST. Redeem your LST to create a withdrawal position and generate a transferable withdrawal receipt.
  5. Swap on Sekai DEX. Swap LSTs for WHYPE through Sekai DEX to test the exit market, and provide liquidity if the LP option is available.
  6. Report bugs. Join the official Sekai Discord and report any bugs, failed swaps, missing balances, broken transactions, or confusing flows. Include your wallet address, transaction hash, a screenshot, and a short explanation.
  7. Stay updated. Follow @Sekai_fi on X for testnet updates and mainnet launch announcements.

Tip: Minting and redeeming test Sekai’s core LST system, while swaps, liquidity provision, and withdrawal-receipt trades test the Sekai DEX exit market. Completing the full loop gives you the most thorough, genuine participation.
