Isometric Devnet: Trade Ranges Before Mainnet

Isometric is live on Solana devnet, giving Crypto Club Earners a way to test a different style of prediction market before the protocol moves toward mainnet. Instead of placing a simple yes-or-no bet, you choose a price range, trade with test $USDC, and see how the payout changes based on how close the final outcome lands to the center of your range.

The devnet currently supports active markets, full trading mechanics, and liquidity provision. That means you can connect a Phantom wallet, switch to Solana devnet, claim test $USDC, open range positions, close positions from your portfolio, and try liquidity pools without risking real capital. The practical goal is to build a clean activity history across trading, liquidity provision, and protocol engagement while the team prepares for mainnet.

Isometric is building a range-based prediction market protocol on Solana. Traditional prediction markets often force traders into binary outcomes, but Isometric lets traders express a view as a range, while liquidity providers deposit $USDC to underwrite outcome ranges and earn fees from trades that touch their position. Positions mint as self-custodied NFTs on Solana, settlement uses a 30-minute time-weighted average price across Pyth and Switchboard, and $ISO is expected to govern fee rates, market approvals, and treasury allocation.

Step-by-Step Guide for the Isometric Devnet

  1. Open the Isometric devnet portal and connect a Phantom wallet.
  2. Switch Phantom to Solana devnet by opening Settings, Developer Settings, enabling Testnet Mode, and selecting Devnet from the network dropdown.
  3. Click the Faucet button in the Isometric header to claim 1,000 test $USDC.
  4. If you need devnet SOL for gas, claim free SOL from the Solana faucet.
  5. Open the Markets tab, choose a market, set your range with the sliders, and place a position using test $USDC.
  6. Use Portfolio to close a position early, or hold the position until settlement to see how the range payout works.
  7. Open the Liquidity tab, deposit test $USDC into a range pool, and test how LP fees work across different risk ranges.
  8. Read the Isometric docs and follow @isometricmkts for mainnet and $ISO updates.
