IRIS is building a fixed-rate borrowing layer that sources liquidity from existing lending markets rather than a separate pool. A borrower specifies collateral, debt asset, maturity, maximum rate, and acceptable venues; solvers then compete to provide a fixed-rate quote. The current supported-market documentation describes Ethereum mainnet integrations with Aave V3 and selected Morpho Blue markets, while the test environment uses IRIS Devnet.
